I'm a mathematician who is transitioning from academia to actuarial science. I enjoy medieval recreation, handcrafts, reading (scifi, fantasy, romance), volleyball (court, not beach), gaming (board, card, RPGs, the occasional LARP), mathematics, science, history, puzzles, and life. My absolute favorite thing to do in the world is to learn. I just got married. A year ago I moved into a cohousing community in central MA, and it's the best neighborhood ever.
